our team

  • After beginning my ministry as youth pastor in Kansas City and then planting a new church in Ohio, Linda (my wife) and I have served as missionaries all over the world for 17 years. Following our missionary service, I served as Executive Pastor at Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene. And now God has called us here! Linda and I have two grown children (Rachel, married to Trevor, and Jordan).

In my free time, I like to ride my motorcycle with Linda, play basketball, read, or watch sports. I am passionate about helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus, and I believe that God wants to change the world through us, his Church.

  • I have been serving in the best job ever, children's ministry, for 10 years and have served in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Arkansas prior to joining the team here at WC Naz.

I am continually humbled that God called me to work with children and help them grow into their own faith, and I am passionate about following that call to the best of my ability.  I love this life!

My husband Luke and I are the proud adoptive fur parents of 2 labs, Harper and Buckeye.  We also have one amazing non-fur daughter, Hadley (1).  Outside of ministry, I enjoy reading, artsy craftsy activities, dance parties with Hadley, Starbucks iced caramel macchiatos, and spending too much money at Target.

Pastor to Families with Students & Young Adults

After being part a of the WC Naz Student Ministry as a student, I am so excited to be a part of the leadership end of the ministry! God has been making some pretty big changes in my life, especially in the past year. He has called me to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:16) and interning with the Student Ministry is one of the first steps I am taking as a part of that calling. I am so excited to be walking with these students in the next year and learning how to become a stronger ambassador for Christ!

In my free time I enjoy running/working out, spending time in nature (sunrises/sets and fall are my favorite), reading, and spending time with my family and friends. My passion, which is truly a gift from God, is reaching unreached people for the sake of the Kingdom. I will one day be an international missionary, in whatever country God leads me, and am so excited for the journey ahead!

  • Music style preferences for people are so diverse, even within our congregation. But I think that nearly any style of music can cross those barriers if it originates out of our hearts as true worship to our Lord. It is my desire that everyone who attends our services will truly experience the presence of the Lord. I pray the Lord will use our music to unite our congregation in worship to Him.

My wife Beth and I have two awesome kids, Simon and Noelle. We really enjoy being outside and watching the kids play soccer and ride horses.

  • Lynn is the glue that holds our team together. She is the friendly voice that answers the phone when you call, the smiling face you see when you visit our office, and the thoughtful heart behind prayer requests, announcements and other communications from our office that keep us moving together toward our vision of kneeling, bridging and going.

    VISITATION PASTOR

Reaching out to people and letting them know God loves them is something I try to do each and every day! After 31 years at General Motors, I retired and have been serving as the Visitation Pastor at WC Naz for ten years. I attended Olivet Nazarene University and Wright State University, graduating in Drafting Technology. I also served two years in the U.S. Army as a Medical Corpsman. During my time in the U.S. Army, I served in Korea for 13 months. I have a passion for senior adults and believe that without them we would not be as blessed as we are today.
