our team

  • After beginning my ministry as youth pastor in Kansas City and then planting a new church in Ohio, Linda (my wife) and I have served as missionaries all over the world for 17 years. Following our missionary service, I served as Executive Pastor at Fairview Village Church of the Nazarene. And now God has called us here! Linda and I have two grown children (Rachel, married to Trevor, and Jordan).

In my free time, I like to ride my motorcycle with Linda, play basketball, read, or watch sports. I am passionate about helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus, and I believe that God wants to change the world through us, his Church.

  • STEWART OSWALT

pastor to families with students & outreach

Students are, hands down, the coolest people on the planet!! I have been working with students for over 10 years and I can say I have the best job in the world...ok, maybe I am a little biased. My greatest passions are helping students come alive in Jesus and helping them build authentic relationships with their peers, families, and the church. I believe students are a current generation of leaders in the church, so I am committed to helping them embrace the ‘Kingdom Impact’ they can make now.

I am a Jesus follower, a husband to an incredible wife (Natalie) and father to three great kids, Trey (13), Selah (5) and Judah (3). I love reading, all things outdoors and sports, and drinking hot chocolate (because I am not mature enough for coffee).

  • I have been serving in the best job ever, children's ministry, for 10 years and have served in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Arkansas prior to joining the team here at WC Naz.

I am continually humbled that God called me to work with children and help them grow into their own faith, and I am passionate about following that call to the best of my ability.  I love this life!

My husband Luke and I are the proud adoptive fur parents of 2 labs, Harper and Buckeye.  We also have one amazing non-fur daughter, Hadley (1).  Outside of ministry, I enjoy reading, artsy craftsy activities, dance parties with Hadley, Starbucks iced caramel macchiatos, and spending too much money at Target.

  • Music style preferences for people are so diverse, even within our congregation. But I think that nearly any style of music can cross those barriers if it originates out of our hearts as true worship to our Lord. It is my desire that everyone who attends our services will truly experience the presence of the Lord. I pray the Lord will use our music to unite our congregation in worship to Him.

My wife Beth and I have two awesome kids, Simon and Noelle. We really enjoy being outside and watching the kids play soccer and ride horses.

  • Lynn is the glue that holds our team together. She is the friendly voice that answers the phone when you call, the smiling face you see when you visit our office, and the thoughtful heart behind prayer requests, announcements and other communications from our office that keep us moving together toward our vision of kneeling, bridging and going.

  • ross frank

    associate student pastor

After being part a of the WC Naz Student Ministry as a student, I am so excited to be a part of the leadership end of the ministry! God has been making some pretty big changes in my life, especially in the past year. He has called me to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:16) and interning with the Student Ministry is one of the first steps I am taking as a part of that calling. I am so excited to be walking with these students in the next year and learning how to become a stronger ambassador for Christ!

In my free time I enjoy running/working out, spending time in nature (sunrises/sets and fall are my favorite), reading, and spending time with my family and friends. My passion, which is truly a gift from God, is reaching unreached people for the sake of the Kingdom. I will one day be an international missionary, in whatever country God leads me, and am so excited for the journey ahead!

  • Amy lackens

    director of discipleship

WCCN has been my church home for more than 20 years. It is here that I met and married my husband and where we dedicated our girls to God.  It's also where I fell in love with God's word and started to understand the power of community in our spiritual growth. Now it is my desire to provide discipleship and Christian education opportunities to our community of believers that enable personal, spiritual transformation.

  • PETE VECcHI

    pastor of radio ministries

I've served in ministry in the Church of the Nazarene since 1995, and was ordained as an elder in 1999. My ministerial assignments have included being an evangelist, the interim pastor for several congregations, and lead pastor of two other congregations. In 2013, while I was serving as a lead pastor, I was asked to become a regular weekday host on internet radio station FaithAndFriendsRadio.com. Because internet radio is not limited by the range of a radio transmitter, it can be heard literally worldwide. In fact, as of July 2017, Faith and Friends has been heard in every nation in the world! As the Pastor of Radio Ministries at WC Naz, I strive to let the ministries of the congregation and the radio station combine to reach even more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ--both locally and around the world!

  • ED WINKLE

    VISITATION PASTOR

Reaching out to people and letting them know God loves them is something I try to do each and every day! After 31 years at General Motors, I retired and have been serving as the Visitation Pastor at WC Naz for ten years. I attended Olivet Nazarene University and Wright State University, graduating in Drafting Technology. I also served two years in the U.S. Army as a Medical Corpsman. During my time in the U.S. Army, I served in Korea for 13 months. I have a passion for senior adults and believe that without them we would not be as blessed as we are today.
